In April 2008, UBS appointed Professor Sir David King as senior scientific adviser. King was the UK Government’s Chief Scientific Adviser and Head of the Government Office of Science from October 2000 to December 2007. King now produces a quarterly series of bulletins. The latest entitled ‘A model for low carbon growth?’ argues that some companies are already reaping the benefits of decarbonizing the economy and suggests that these actions are consistent with global economic recovery.
